BENEFIT 1: GLASS FLAT·TOP
1 GLASS: GLASS·TOP VERSUS PLASTIC
Our domes and tubular skylights are the only ones in the market manufactured in DOUBLE GLASS with internal anti-condensation air chamber that improves thermal insulation . The external tempered side gives it a mechanical resistance to impact and scratch, which is very difficult to achieve with plastics.

PLASTIC Monovalve plastic dome |
GLASS Tubular skylights double glazed DEPLOSUN |
AGING RESISTANCE |
It yellows, cracks and looses mechanical properties with the years. Chemical agents can accelerate degradation process.
Glass has not aging process, and its properties get inalterable for years
SCRATCH RESISTANCE |
Plastic could be scratched very easily when cleaned or manipulated, loosing light properties
Glass has a high superficial hardness up to 6,5 mohrs. Will never get scratched nor loose it's light properties.
ACUSTIC ISOLATION |
Acoustic isolation is very low because there is only one plastic barrier and a continuous air flow, that lets sound go in and out
Very high acoustic isolation due to a double glazed window with air chamber and 100 % sealed system. We can reach up to 49 dBs in flat top models
THERMAL INSULATION |
Monovalve dome 3 mm thick with air flow system offers a very low thermal insulation .Normally up to U=1,9 W/m2-K
DEPLOSUN dome with double glazed window, air chamber and 100% sealed system, will reach down to U=2,8W/m2-K and if we also take into consideration the light pipe it can reach U=1,9W/m2-K
BENEFIT 2: 100% PASSABLE
GLASS ( FLAT·TOP) :To the previous characteristics we add mechanical resistance . DEPLOSUN FLAT·TOP is the only tubular skylight in the market on which you can walk, there are versions for pedestrians and for vehicles. It satisfies the C3 classification for external pavements The triple laminated glass transforms the system in security glasses, totally waterproof.
MECHANIC RESISTANCE |
Can't be used in transit areas because of breaking danger when walking in
Holds up to 1000 Kg load in the skylight centre, which even bears vehicles
BENEFIT 3: ALUMINIUM PIPES
1.1. ALUMINIUM PIPE VERSUS LAMINATED PLASTIC PIPES
ALUMINIUM PIPE: Aluminium pipe with silver surface treatment SILVER-PLUS with 98% super-reflective factor according to DIN 5036, capable of transferring solar light to 21 m. It is the only reflective pipe in the market 100% metallic and NOT LAMINATED IN PLASTIC, that’s why it will never peel , yellow or crack after a long sun exposure to the UV rays. It is electrostatically neutral and doesn’t attract powder in suspension . That is why the manufacturer ALANOD gives a 25 year warranty.
BENEFIT 4: SIZE WITHOUT LIMITS
1.2. BIG SIZE PIPES
DEPLOSUN is the only one in its range that reaches 95 cm. diameter . That allows us to be more effective in big spaces like stores, warehouses etc. because we will need less units.

BENEFIT 5: DOUBLE LIGHT

DEPLOCELL TECHNOLOGY: REFLECTIVE GRID THAT DOUBLES TUBULAR SKYLIGHT’S PERFORMANCE |
The reflective grid DEPLOCELL is a patented system that captures sun light and reflects it toward the inside of the pipe .With that we double the minimum performance of the conventional domes.
The reflective grid DEPLOCELL is factory assembled. It’s located inside a double glazed insulation chamber and remains totally protected against dirt and scratch.
The deplocell grid is manufactured in aluminium SILVER PLUS98% with a superficial 98% silver treatment according to DIN5030 with 25 year guarantee . The reflective material guaranties a better stability against UV rays than laminated plastic used by other manufacturers.
When installing the DEPLOCELL grid it should be oriented towards the south , to maximize sun capture along the day.
TRADITIONAL SKYLIGHT
In conventional domes , low rays (winter), hit inside the aluminium pipe with a very low inclination , causing rays to go through multiple reflections before reaching the end of the pipe, that decreases its performance.
DEPLOSUN TUBULAR SKYLIGHT
DEPLOSUN, tubular skylights with DEPLOCELL technology redirect sun rays inside the pipe reducing the amount of reflections , increasing up to the double the amount of light comparing with traditional domes.
